Bumped into this chap at the AA Silverstone Classic Media Day

This chap came up abd had a chat about the awesome power of a 1962 AA BSA M21 and sidecar He wanted to have a go but advised him that I didnt think he could handle the power.
Before you all start we had to dress for the part(it was a Media day!) and this is the uniform that goes with Nicks AA series 1(I mean the AA's series 1)
We also took a few of the Fleet along as well.

Might it just be possible Nick is thinking of changing to a Green Oval

The Escort is a lovely van It has never left the AA It was found a while back in a lock up at the training college with 1700 milies yep 1700 miles even now it has only done just short of 10.000 We also have an Ital that was found in the same lock up!! This had less miles and if I remember rightly only has 7000 on it now!

he will be at the classic racing a Morgan along with a few other celeb's. Met the fireman from Coronation street(asked how his wife was but didnt say ) The young Sugden from Emmerdale, Brendan from Strictly and a very Blonde Ski jumper
Even got taken round the track in a Labatts Cosworth 500 Boy was that fast and stuck like EP90 to your best jeans

Does the Ital (Marina?) van have a piano on it's roof. Hope you will wearing the uniform on the rally and salute us all!

No the Ital doesnt have a piano on the roof it wasnt allowed! We had the chairman of the Marina/Ital owners club down and I was invited Funnily enough they didnt appreciate my humor about pianos. they dont like Jezzer either.
No to the uniform but I will show you the new salute at the start line

I once had an Ital as a company car. Not something I'm proud of and glad I didn't spend my money on it

Sold that and bought a Sunbeam Tiger,quicker acceleration but ran out of steam at top end and wouldn'tgo round corners at speed- as I found out to my cost one evening !!

I'm going to be at the Classic this year Tony with the Range Rover Register taking the un-suspecting punters round the off-road course,pop round for a ride and a Beer!!!!
