Today I Have................

............had the local press round to take pictures of Team Wickes and the Jeep.

Appearing in the Lea Valley Mercury, Star and other sister papers complete with a full blurb on what the rally is all about.

Great news mate

Am going to hit our local paper to see if they want to do a story any tips or suggestions to get them on side general

I just emailed the editoral section and included the general info from the Rally website which details the route etc.

Told them why I was taking part and that I was hoping to raise corporate sponsorship from local businesses and private sponsorship from individuals and asked would they be interested in running a small article.

Reporter phoned me this morning and they came round tonight.

I was going to do this with our local/regional newspaper.
I wanted to wait till all the spaces were filled and maybe get everyone from this part of the world together.

My niece is a journalist!! She is on holiday at the mo but I will have a word when she returns, I am certain she will assist.
