Hi all, do we have to contact skytag or do they send the unit to us, I know we had an email about it but I can't seem to find it!

1 - Skytag; You will be aware that every vehicle taking part in the rally will be tracked live by Skytag gps. Skytag will soon contact you direct regarding the delivery of the tracking unit to you. You will be asked to provide bank cards details and be charged £1 - this is solely to ensure you send the unit back to them after completing the rally. If you don't send it back or take out a contract with them post-rally then you will be charged the full unit cost.
The tracker will arrive with fitting instructions - but if you have any problems please liaise with Skytag direct. You will find them hugely helpful. In due course you will also be informed of the link to be used to track your car (and all the rally crews) - this will allow family, friends, colleagues, sponsors to track your progress.
The unit will also allow your kindly and caring organisers (?!) to track your progress (including VCs - Virtual Checks at certain locations per the Final Instructions) and also monitor your speed. The latter is for health and safety and to ensure legal compliance at all times

Jamie - Richie covers your Q. The email was sent to all 2013 crews on 18th March. I've just resent a copy to you. Hope that's okay.

Organisers and marshalls being helpful - I never heard of such a thing

Doesn't matter whether you're nice or not - the organisers deduct points on a whim

You do realise I have already lost 45 points with only 20 posts on here, is it like the QI scoring system?

You might as well round it up to 100
