| Dashboard works a treat. Used it on the Rally this year and found it reliable and easy to use. Of course it can't cope too well with any mistakes in the roadbooks | |

| Others to look at:
Motion X Everytrail
Bear in mind, you need to have on board maps (roaming costs are still stupidly expensive) - so memory space is a consideration.

| This year we used the NavFree collection of apps covering europe, coped well very useful in 2D mode when the roadbook differed from the road ahead | |

| just an update
I have looked at TomTom but it doesn't seem to have very good reviews, also it cost's money! For about a week I have been running Nav Free alongside my TomTom sat nav, at times they seem to conflict each other but the overall results are the same. So I will keep looking but for now will use the Nav Free app.
Memory Map performed well in tracking my route, last week we went across the Aberaeron on the Welsh coast taking in a lot of back roads around the dams and through the forests, it seemed to keep it's location very well without losing lock at all.
Next job is to sort out a mount but I think I will let Nick do a trial and then maybe follow his advice ( only on a mount NOT about a Land Rover ! )

Id shut up if i were you. It has been suggested that we may use daffodils next year. Anymore comments like that and we may have to visit Kew to find something even more challenging
