| Looking for an Ipad mount that can be moved from vehicle to vehicle.
Looked at screen suction mounts, vent mounts etc... but they all look like vibration might be an issue.
Those who used Ipads on the rally .......... what works ??

| I used a RAM mount for the iPad we used in Z5. Got the idea from the D3 Forum and it worked brilliantly, i've adapted it to fit my D1 and a fit for the Series is in the pipe line. The main benefit is its modular, search for Brodit and RAM mount UK suppliers. http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic73224.html | |

| Pillows might help, one under the ipad and one under you. What vibration. Dave | |

| Nice. Hope you're not heading for that car wash in the first pic Got no intention of driving the LTWT in the same manner the L200 gets driven. After all, it is a LR, it probably won't survive it So breaking laptop mounts won't be an issue | |

| BTW we didn't fit ours to the windscreen - Allan made a bracket to fit in the "glovebox" space on the passenger side as I was the navigator. Fitted well and easy to see/operate. | |

| I got a suction mount for the iPad for this year, but didn't use it in the D2 as the dash is higher than the D3 and it would have blocked off too much windscreen and Edie wouldn't have been able to see.
Had it resting on the pop out cup holders in the centre, working on something else for next year. You're welcome to try my now spare suction mount.

| We used a ram/brodit on this years mac to hold Pete's XOOM and phone.
No vibration regardless of how many times i drifted into the soft verges on the moors
Very impressed, i would get one myself but rams website is so confusing i gave up

| The only problem with the suction mounts i found in the Series is it damaged the heated windscreen. The suction seperated the laminates and caused it to crack. I would go for something thats doesn't mount to the screen. I thought about this for my Series and was going to use the centre seat track mounting bolts to mount some kind of device. The one Sandy said looks good.

Vibration in a Series thats not vibration its a relaxing massage that i see all the posh BMW's now have. The series was way ahead of its time you know.

| The Ipad in the orange peril was a suction cup that we kind of pissed off with ( it did cost us about £20 so was cheap enough anyway) and took it apart bodged it together with an old gps mount and perminantly fitted it. | |
