Well, it won't be the Disco, that's for sure Hasn't got an engine or gearbox.

I can lay my hands on an engine and box if needed I have a manual and an auto set up

I can put my hands on at least 3 spare vehicles that will make the trip if thats any help.

As ever, Tony a really brill offer and great to see the rally camaraderie even before the off.

With less than two weeks to go, yet another last minute panic.......

If anyone has nothing to do next weekend, there's a little project that needs completing.....
The owner is contemplating a last minute entry to the rally and was wondering if we can help get it finished in time .......

58 series 1

Although a '62 plate B reg, it was first registered in Ireland in '58. 2wd and complete with a birds next in the engine bay.
A "bit" of welding needed, the engine could do with a bit of fettling and the gearbox is the wrong one!!!!

Its a Rover so should be able to get it together for the 16th

If the ginger tosser can rebuild one in a weekend at the shows I bet good money that the SORT boys could do it in a day, with time off for tea & sarnies

In exactly 7 days from today, we will be opening the back door of the Green Oval and shoving everything in, well everything that will fit in anyway and if it won't go in, bad luck we won't be needing it. Not sure if I should wash it before or after packing, as we all know the Green Oval isn't the most water tight vehicle on the road. We depart first thing next thursday so see some of you on the 15th, and the rest on the 16th. Good luck to all.

I would wash it before loading, at least that way you start with dry kit and a clean inside as well as outside.

Well, less than 2 weeks & i'm all sorted.
Picked up some Euros today so my food bill can be covered, apparently Richie is paying for everything else.


Now, the question is,
Will i be able to get the pink dye out of my beard before then or do i have to do the event looking like Santa's fat gay cousin???
