3 Weeks !!!!

3 weeks today will be the last day at work before prep for departure.

3 weeks today and we will be on our way North towards Calais, all packed up and remembering the things we have forgotton.

Just do waht you've done for the last two years. Each morning, get up early, nip into Holland, pick a few tulips, return to camp site, throw them randomly in the air and wait to see how they land. Pass a copy of the pattern out to all entrants and hey presto - chaos.

Sorry mark - I know you've gone through a lot over the past few weeks re your truck but, regrettably, penalty points will have to be added to Team 10; reason 'Am Thinking'

We currently have 23 teams all on fairly level negative points - it must be said Car 10 does feature, alongside a French outfit, someone who lives on a boat, a RR crew, a Mitsu crew, an odd-Scotsman, 3 AAs crews, a Quack, an ex-old-Bill, a current old-Bill, a Northern rebuild team, a Novice team, a potential award winner re highest sponsorship, 3 marshals, a lost greyhound, a discarded puppet, oh and quite a few others.

Thinks most that post on this here forum are on penalty points, now surely those kind considerate not to mention honourable organisers will award the team with the most penalty points a prize before we all start out, that way the rest of us know we all stand a chance of winning something more, shifting goal posts and fresh tulips aside.

What is all this talk of tulips...
I to have some flowers in the garden but I dont normally take them on tour. I'm not even sure what most of them are called, that's Mrs gardeners job. I find that reffering to them as "the yellow ones" is normally enough detail for her.

Or are you all batting for the other team now?
