Decided as part of my vehicle prep and to sort out any future problems i decided to change my windscreen seal on the Defender , it was perished / split and this can cause water to get into the bulkhead ......rot.
Although i did this on my 90 with no problems the 110 was a bit different,,,,,,now waiting for autoglass chap to put in a new windscreen , enough said Sad

We've got some glass left over from a old patio door if that helps.

Another useful snippet of advice from one of the Rally organisers. We know, we know - our hearts are too big. Rolling Eyes

All sorted , thanks to the nice bloke from the AA, Keith we should invite him on the rally he even put a cover on the bonnet, unlike the AA lot you invited last year who just drank our beer.

Neil - You'll have to do another repair before the Rally scrutineering; you'll currently fail with that big black sticker in your line of sight. Sorry - but rules is rules.

You might as well have invited your windscreen man - as most of the AA will be with us; we've an AA Drive Tech Team on board in addition to the Car 26 and Car 45. I think it's so they can keep an eye on Tony bom
