Well, everything is about ready.

Vehicle docs (reg doc, insurance, mot, driving licences) - check
Mobile comms (laptop, phones, cb, etc...) - check
Bank and Vodafone informed of European Wandering - check
Satnavs/maps - check
Camping kit (tents, sleeping bags, air bed, pillows, cooking kit, chairs, table etc...) - check (although some of it is in use this weekend - her and the kids have gone away with Scouts on a cooking/camping competion event Team L200 - last min prep. Icon_rolleyes ).
Fridge/cool boxes - check
Clothing etc - her to sort in the week - check
Scrutineering sheet - check
Passports - check
Kids booster seats - check
Spares (a few bits being distributed between us and FarmerL200) - check
Tyres (swapped back to ATs for 3000 miles worth of better economy than MTs) - check
Off road kit (slings, strops/ropes, snatch blocks, shackles, KERR, waffle boards, hi lift jacks, ground anchor etc...) - check - yup still in boxes in the back of the workshop - not lugging that lot round Europe - well OK, maybe one strap or bridle and a couple of shackles, so the winch can be used for self recovery or to pull a LR or 2 out Team L200 - last min prep. Icon_twisted ).
Dog sitter - check

To sort this weekend (thought I was going to have a quiet one Team L200 - last min prep. Kopfschuettel ):
Gearbox output seals to change, following damage to one during last weeks clutch change Team L200 - last min prep. Icon_rolleyes
Gearbox skid plate to wrestle back into place
What a stupid time for it to decide to start having a hot starting problem again Team L200 - last min prep. Icon_evil - hey ho - bite the bullet - fuel pump change tomorrow
Redo some of the sponsors stickers
Change lock on tailgate - one of those jobs that's been on the Roundtuit list for months Team L200 - last min prep. Icon_rolleyes
If time allows - sort radio or other music device - kids have portable DVD/DS/CD and numerous books so they're OK

Mon to Fri while at work:
Chase up everyone who's promised to sponsor us
Wonder abouit what I might've forgotten

Next Thurs eve:
Fuel up, Load up (then chuck out everything that's really not needed)

Next Fri:
Go, go, go - see ya in Swindon Fri eve, or at the start Sat morning.

If it isn't onboard by Fri - tough.

If you've got one of those standard head unit looms I've got a spare ipod ready stereo still boxed that Tim bought round a while back.

Thanks for the offer Alane, only problem might be that my system relies on 2 RCA outputs to the amp and crossovers for the rear doors (mid range), subs (behind the back seats) and front tweeters and the normal output for the front doors (mid range).

Loom has an adaptor to go from the Mits wiring loom, to the Alpine head unit - which, from memory, is a standard 2 plug arrangement. Not 100% sure though - I fitted it all that long ago, I've forgotten how it all goes !!!!!!!

Might take you up on the offer if all else fails this weekend. Thank you.

This unit only has the 1 RCA, Same as the one I have in my motor, I had to by a splitter for the amp so I've no balance control

Would be better than nowt, if I can't sort mine.
How much, if I do need it? How much was the splitter?
Not bothered about balance as I always have it centred anyway.

Splitter was a couple of quid from Halfrauds

As for the unit, I'll ask Tim in the morning, probably not much though
