Team Yoda

Morning!!

I'm in need of insperation for a team name at the moment. Due to the amount of work, post breakdowns I've had over the past 2 years I may go for "Team - Optomistic"

I've had a head gasket go in a biblical way (cylinder head looked like it had been thrown from a plane)

I managed to strip my main shaft on the gearbox.

I set fire to my engine loom (oops).

I've had to change:
Steering damper
panhard rod
Shocks
Springs
Starter motor
alternator
Clutch master
Rear prop

It's a work in progress!!! lol

Me partner wants to know where the landy is Alane.....
I think shes blinkered by uniforms.

That was taken in 1993 in N Ireland, everyone there is considerably older now.

I was infantry in 1 Queens and 1 PWRR

Oh yeah, the Landy in that picture is the only thing that ever did any work

not serving now then?? im trying to get into the RAF atm!!

Nope, I went on to do 8 years as a bodyguard now I'm a househusband to my 2 small fella's (bit of a strange career move)

Good luck with the RAF! sometimes I wonder if I should've stayed in.

the trainings probably helped though!! does that mean your a man that can iron??? cheers i just hope if i get in i can get the time off other wise my teams going without me!!!

Can you do the rally first then go for basic training? I doubt you'll get time off in the first 10 - 12 months (not much anyway)

Im going for aircrew so if i get through selection I will be asking!! If I dont get in ill do the rally then re apply!!!

I used to show the 'Provost' boys how the Scottish Peelers worked on a Sat neet in Glasgow but mostly HMS Neptune area.

Mmmm, back my motor is!!

I gave it to a company near me (South East Auto Electricals) and they've almost completely rewired little Yoda from the dash backwards.
The engine bay was done last year.

I now also have a 65amp alternator instead of the pansy 45amp standard one.

Lots of stuff now works!
I've even got a battery isolator switch and quick release jump leads! Lovin' it
