Common then how many jobs do you need to get fixed? Laughing

I've found a couple that I may have a problem with.

Excessive play in the steering since owning the motor, lol
My battery has always just sat in the battery box without being bolted down
And
My hazard light switch broke off during the last maintenance hooplah.

Grrrr

Anyone beating me?

Only question I have is how much off road kit is really needed - I'm guessing not a lot, maybe a rope or two, a couple of shackles and a bridle.
Certainly not lugging hi lift jacks, waffle boards, snatch blocks etc... half way across Europe, unless we're going to be off road every day Laughing

As for broken stuff on my MITSUBISHI L200 - nowt to do Very Happy except a service just before we go (oh, yea, maybe put a music player in Rolling Eyes ). I service at 5,000 miles and we'll be doing best part of 3,000 in 2 weeks.

Apart from 1 extra spare wheel and some fuel cans there won't much glued onto my motor that isn't on it on a daily basis.

Cheers Bill

Might pop to Homebase (ooh no that burnt down)
Might pop to B&Q and get some blu-tac for the battery though.

Both batteries bolted down
Wheel wobble option deleted
oztent practically welded to the roof
luggage guard to stop ropes and shackles hurtling into the driver
fridge weighted down with beer and cider

Yup, all good.

As long as you don't check the driver for excessive leaks.... I'm not as young as I was

There seems to be a couple of boxes missing.

1. Is the vehicle a Landrover? Yes/No

2. If 'Yes' please tick the box marked 'Failed'

Laughing Laughing Wink
