| I thought I would be a good idea if people could jot down important items that are must have for the event. Things from legal requirements to "don't forget your toothbrush". An example is I think you need to have a gb sticker on you truck if you don't have it on your number plates. You have to have a warning triangle and you need to have a flouresant vest. Loads of people are asking what I want for my birthday and I though this kinda stuff would plug a few gaps. (staying neutral due to my multi vehicle household) | |

| Being as I am the one thing worse than a t-total Scotsman ie a t-total ex regular scots soldier. I find this line of answers not to be the most helpful. Although the sausages I will take into consideration as I do like a good link. By the way for those of you who are tripping over themselves for my beer ration it's already promised away. | |

| OK, to get back to the initial subject of the thread, you can view the compulsory legal requirements for your vehicle (GB Stickers, Triangles etc) here: http://www.theaa.com/motoring_advice/touring_tips/compulsory_equipment.pdfRe SatNav (which is compulsory for 2011 entrants) it is illegal in some countries to have Speed Camera warnings installed. A small Inverter is a useful item to have and they are not too expensive. I also believe that the Organisers will put out a list of the Rally requirements soon. (ie. Documents that must be carried, First Aid Kit, Fire Extinguishers) If you haven't got these some of them are small and inexpensive enough for Birthday Pressies.

| That's it; more secrets revealed! What hope is there of any 'surprises' for the rally crews! For info - the 'Scruntineering List' will be sent to all 2011 entrants next week. Although, I've just noticed sausages don't seem to appear on the list (at the moment!) | |

| Forgot to mention Neil - Does everyone know that your avatar pic of your 2011 truck & caravan was taken at the last campsite? The AA did a great job in getting you home. | |
