£20 on a Mitsubishi being the 1st breakdown!

I will put £20 on a mitsubishi being the 1st casualty of the rally!

I'm really tempted to put a bet on a LR being the first - but you wouldn't be able to afford it ............

I've not looked at actual numbers, but, the odds are very much against you guys.

The ratio of LRs to anything else are rather high, so, by default, the odds of a LR breaking down first are much higher than those for a Mits (or anything else).

Wouldn't want to insult you with the bet I have in mind .................

The more "others" the better! There is only one proper 4x4 and that carries the green oval. People wrongly say they are unreliable and break too easily but I bet my disco can stand up to more use and abuse than any other 4x4 of the same standing (lift kit etc). Seen so many claims of greatness fall through when the going gets tuff. Short of blowing my engine up or my gearbox falling to bits I know my disco will do this rally with ease.
It might not be the pretiest looking or have the best gadgets on board but its good enuf for me and is yet to fail me (minor clutch problem accepted)
