| Not that I plan on needing it, but has anyone got any recommendations for breakdown/recovery cover which includes Europe?
My previous insurers included UK breakdown cover, but as I'm insuring with Noel Dazely (excellent deal), I'm going to need some breakdown cover.

| strangely enough.......... I have it thro the RAC, Adrian Flux insurers and my bank.
WHY???
RAC? is running oot just after the rally. Adrian Flux? because RAC running oot. Bank? Part of my package.
Pam also has cover under the same three.
So, I guess we will get to the destination and back here, sometime...............

| It might be worth holding off on the breakdown cover as I believe the powers that be are in discussions with a certain event sponsor.
I am with the AA am hoping that if a deal is offered its better than the deal the AA quoted me as it was nearly as much for European cover as it was for the full hit for the UK cover.

| Watch this space on the subject of Breakdown cover. Will be having a meeting with the powers that be, Keith and Tim. We will thrash out a deal of some sort for anyone needing cover for the event. Tony | |

| I too will take advantage of this. (email sent) I already have cover but there is nothing wrong with 'Belt & Braces'.
However, I'm abit concerned about this item taken from their T&C page
Quote "Any costs incurred where your vehicle has left the highway and is in a ditch, standing on soft ground, sand or shingle, or stuck in water or snow. If you ask for assistance for recovery to a place of safety we will endeavour to arrange help for you but it will be at your cost." Unquote

You've got to get as far as me first Harry Perhaps you should take advantage of this before you attempt the journey up next weekend (going on past performance). PS. I'll check out the camping tomorrow night and PM you Sunday.
