| Nick I had a look around and I still think Runcorn work out cheaper I may be wrong but if you add the aerial, mount coaxial etc and postage they all came to more money. Worth checking though... JJ | |

| I'm sure you've mentioned that you're taking part in the rally. So is Jan who is the owner of the Runcorn CB shop - thus I'm certain he would at least match any other prices you've been quoted. | |

Worth knowing, and come to think of it, I think it's been said before.

| Tiny little thing!!! I used to have a Cybernet many moons ago and I thought that was small. This is dead easy to find a space for. the overhead console in the Jeep has a compartment for a remote garage door opener (American thing) and it will fit in there. Simples!!! Jan has now moved his operation to North London and is only five minutes up the road from me. I could pick one up for you and save you the postage. | |

| Wire it up and switch it on before ye fix the unbit into the roof thingy. I have found that my unit once it gets above eye level the display becomes harder to read. For some reason the display is fur under eye level on mine.
I found that oot AFTER I fixed it in place.

| I picked up a gutter and a roof rack mount as I'm not sure where I'm going to mount the aerial yet.
Jans recommended 'Mini Stinger' seems good. Robust and with plenty of spring and flex in it for off road use.
Bill, I've already doubled the value, I filled the tank up!!!

| 2nd vote for the mini stinger I have one in red to match the truck and its 2m off the deck and has been fine when hurtling around the forests, did try a full size one on a mag mount and it wave around all over the place to the point it caused a problem and was forever hitting trees.
Mini one seems to be fine for what it gets used for.
