PostSubject: Team Cobra   Team Cobra EmptyThu Aug 13, 2009 9:41 pm

Eventually decided on the Team name. TEAM COBRA. I now have the final team aswell.
Nick (co-driver) from France (already on the forum). My two sons are flying back to join in. Rob from Australia and Simmo from the States. We are already International!!
New York-Sydney-Paris-Birchington. Oh yes it will be on the motor!!!
Talking of which after a lot of soul searching I have already put a bid on one so I can prep it in time.
Sorry not a Landy or a Jap (although I am always in a kimono!).
Well we are going to Germany soooooooooo German it is!!!.....Yes I here you cry.
Surely not a G Wagen....Oh Yes, the one, the only, formidable, bomb proof G 280 LWB!!!!!!
Ok guys now don't be too jealous!!!!It is old very old!!!

I am so excited!!!! and now we are four so we are so excited!!!!!!!! Party

The British Army used a number of these vehicles in Iraq during operation Telic, particularly around the Baghdad and Rustamiyah areas.

He doesn't know what the word 'work' means.

Great news there John re the G-Wagon; I did a Cop-Drive many years ago in a lwb G-wagon. Great vehicles. I forgot - did I ask you if you could help in carrying spares for the L/R brigade. German reliability will mean, just like the Jap 'n Jeeps, that all you'll need will be a spare light bulb.
