A very poignant day today; 100 years after the start of WW1.  Our Facebook page www.facebook.com/h4hrally has a number of posts relating to this special day of remembrance.

The 2014 rally crews visited two lonely British WW1 graves in Libramont-Chevingy, Belgium and laid wreaths in respect of the fallen. The two graves have been cared for nearly 100 years by the family of a serving Belgian soldier. With the playing of the Last Post, this was a hugely moving occasion.

Having seen many sights in 5 years of taking part in the rally, this, was the one spot that really brought a tear to our eyes.

Agreed Nick - tears were in most peoples eyes. It was one of those experiences that you'll never forget. So sad that neither soldier has a living relative; and very humbling that a Belgian family has cared for the graves all these years.
