| Well I have finally got home. After stopping off at my Mum's in Barnsley for a few days I blew the head gasket on POH going up a hill on the A66 near Barnards Castle in County Durham. Iam glad it did not happen in the alps! Due to the distance involved I had to be taken on two breakdown truck to get home. , I would like to thank the two drivers for there hatd work. Now to fix my truck , but I will not be able to show it off at the ASDA collection this weekend still never mind. | |

| Glad you got back Peter, sorry to hear about the head gasket, but as you say, at least it went on the way home in the UK. Sure it'll be fixed soon enough. | |

| Well the cylinder head is off and cleaned up ready to be skimmed. The head gasket is really stuffed. and the injectors just fell apart as I removed them so I will need to relace them | |

| Yes and no, Nick. I have taken it to Inverness for refurbishment so I will know everything is OK with it After that it is just a case of putting it back together. At one point I was thinking about rebuilding the whole engine over winter, but as I need it as part of my collection scene I decided to just do the head. | |
