| Sorry been away - chasing those who joined in Sept but who are still at the lower end of the Fund raising table Afterall, the rally is all about fund raising for H4H and, to be fair to everyone, all teams need to pull their weight and be active. http://www.bmycharity.com/H4H4x4Rally2014 | |

| A lady in the dry cleaners asked about my truck, after explaining what it was all about she gave me £5 as a donation I have got the OK from the local Football club, Wick Academical F.C., to collect at a home game. I am waiting for a date so wish me luck. | |

| That's the sort of public spirit which is quite inspirational Peter - £5 is £5 and every penny helps the H4H cause. A wonderful little story. Great job re Wick Academical - very different and hope all goes well. But please please tell me they haven't asked you to play!!!!! We wouldn't want any metatarsal injuries ruining your June activities | |

| Good on ya Tony; and a huge thanks - we need ALL the crews to do what you're doing; getting out there and 'doing their bit' Great to see quite a few out this w/e eg Units 10, 13, 15, 30 and 38 - and no doubt others we've not heard from That fund raising target is getting closer. Like you a number are also covering next w/e's H4H/Debenhams National Collection. Hope all goes well | |

| Well, an interesting, if not annoying and irritating day at Tesco's. Due to a major breakdown in communications between the charity colleague, the store manager & H.O. At 08.30 I found myself in the foyer along with a RAC membership salesman, 2 car salesmen & 2 cars, 7 Talk Talk internet salesmen all with 'aggressive sales pitches. I think most customers, having run the gauntlet of all of these just wanted to get out and didn't see me, but still managed to collect £278.40 for the pot. The behaviour in particular, of the Talk Talk lads was something to behold and I gave up at 4.00pm before I said something that I might regret. Lets hope next week is better | |

| A sterling effort there Tony and, in the circumstances, well done In summary; 1. H4H is better off by £278.40 2. The H4H rally will stick with the AA 3. I've just cancelled the two new cars I was going to order 4. I've discounted Talk Talk for my future comms interface; and will stick with two tin cans and a piece of string | |

| A disappointing day at Tesco , today. Very few customers due to very limited parking due to resurfacing work in the car park, but still got £188.41 'Every little helps' | |

| It the sun; it's brought everyone out. A great result there Tony - and it goes to show what can be achieved by crews who make the effort; even during weekdays | |

| Four weekdays of just my time, at Tesco has raised £ 990.90, and four more days to go. Great result that I'm pleased with and frankly, what is four days of my time compared with what the guys we are trying to help, have given ! | |

Great result that I'm pleased with and frankly, what is four days of my time compared with what the guys we are trying to help, have given ! Absolutely agree with you Tony. It is one of the easiest charities to collect for - you just have to be there. All we have to give is our time - the heroes have given so much more....... | |

| Echoes all round there folks - feeling frustrated why a number of crews still linger in the doldrums after 'joining up' in Sept 13 knowing full well our target for 2014 was £200,000. | |

| Have faith Keith we will get there, we always have! All we have to give is our time - the heroes have given so much more....... Flag02 We said Jan, as I tell people when they apologize for not having more money to give, "It is more money for the charity than I had 2 minutes ago". We can only do are best. At least Tony can collect at Tesco, I kept being told to contact HQ, who never answer or get back. Still never mind! | |

| At least Tony can collect at Tesco, I kept being told to contact HQ, who never answer or get back. Still never mind! We had a similar problem with Tesco - think it depends very much on the attitude/interest the Community colleague has towards the charity concerned. Nevertheless we, like you and many other teams, found somewhere else to collect. Where there's a will, there's a way........... | |
