Team Red Diamonds Collecting Birkenhead 6th March

Hi all

Its just a provisonal date at the moment but spoke to the powers that be and got us pencil'd in for the 6th March.

I am going to blag 2 spaces for vehicles so if anyone fancy's it first up will have the 2nd place and what ever we raise on the day we can split between the two teams or the teams of people that are there if that makes sense and people think its fair.

I had a bit of run through the mill to get it but the general run down is I had to speak to the council Legal department to gain a collecting permit and then had to speak to the center operators to get there permission to have a vehicle there. Got to put it in writing and waiting for the forms to land but hoping to get this done in the next couple of days so will let you all know once I have the final nod.

Now onto H4H for what ever im allowed to have of them

Been on to h4h and spoke to a nice girly called Sam and shes sending me lots of stuff so far its looking good

oh yes am planning on getting there nice and early and making the most of it.

Did you get anywhere with contact details for the local rags, if so could you pm me some details would be nice to get them in on the act.

That explains why I can't find the email! Can you email anyway - so I can put into the PR folder.

Just had a nice big box arrive from H4H, they have sent me allot of stuff including some of the bears, I think after my mum and sis see them I am going to have to ring up and get some more lol.

Hats off to the guys and girls down there they sent me allot of stuff and hopefully there will be little to send back.

If anyone is planning to do any collections I would suggest giving them a bell you will need the events registered ID no but that can be got of Keith, they have sent me lots of flyers and posters and a decent sized banner so its worth giving them a shout.

I thought the mac was later in the month dam will have to learn to write in the diary lol

Small teddys are 7.50 in and large £12. in a rugby shirt or in camo.

They sent me one of each I have decided I am going to have one of the small camo teddys for a dash board mascot and there going in our sisters shop so think tomorrow im going to have to ring them up and get some more ordered, there good quality so can't see them staying there too long.

The 6th is only penciled in I will have a look in the diary might knock it back a week as it clashes with an event I was going to do but will see what I can juggle.
