| Hey Guys,
I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce Team RIFFRAF. There are three of us in this team
Flt Lt Will Warboys- a Puma helicopter pilot based at RAF Benson in Oxfordshire
Flt Lt Andy Grieve- an RAF General Practitioner based in North Yorkshire
Wendy- our Landrover Defender 90 in Bonatti Grey.
Will and I met whilst we were both serving out in Akrotiri, Cyprus in 2007. We lived together and got on like a house-on-fire. Both being keen outdoorsmen we regularly went off-roading on our motorbikes and jeeps up into the Northern part of Cyprus where there were many hundeds of miles of excellent tracks to explore.
Now we are back in the UK we enjoy spending time with our other halves and occasionally get together for nights out or trips into the National Parks. I drive Wendy most days and she is fully off-road prepared as I regularly use her with my prehospital medical work in remote locations around the UK. I cover downhill mountain biking events, adventure racing and motorsport events.
In addition to just having a damn good time on the rally, I'll be lending ahand to any medical issues people have enroute. I'll bring a full expedition medical kit along with me.
We all look forward to meeting you all on the 19th!.
