| Number two Son (who is my Co-Driver) owns a garage in Bethnal Green, East London. Closer to the event he has offered the use of the full workshop (Hi-Lift Ramp, Welding Kit, all tools and a couple of mechanics) for a full Saturday or Sunday for anyone who wants to do any last minute tweaking or bashing. This would probably be in April as his sister is getting married in May and neither he or I want to incurr the wrath of 'Lady Confusion' | |

| Steve - A very generous offer and one which no doubt will be taken up by some (or all ha). We are currently negotiating 'support' to entrants during the event itself. Additionally, at least for our location in France, it looks as if we will have the services of a 4x4 specialist garage available to us - just in case the need arises! Nearer the event itself we will contact all entrants and try to 'marry' makes ie introduce all the Jeeps to each other, introduce all the Freelanders to each other - The purpose being to allow them to discuss what spares each will bring and not to duplicate. I hasten to add not my brilliant idea but one given to me by a member of this forum. | |
