Come down Lea Road until you reach the gates of the industrial estate at the bottom.

Look to your left and you will see a track alongside the river with a yellow height barrier over it. Take that track and follow down to the bridge ( bit of laning). You will pass the club on opposite bank. Go over the bridge and turn into the carpark on the right.

Ask anyone and they'll either tell you where to find me or tell you to p*ss off

No Problem Mate, but you missed a great day. Haven't got a final figure yet, but it looks like we have over £1000 to add to the pot.

Now I've had time to sit down for five minutes, I can honestly say what a blinding weekend. Somewhere around 200 people despite the rain (which unfortunately washed Harry Snow's tent away).
Four bands, guest appearance by Austin Drage (X-Factor finalist) loads of donations and looking like we added well over a grand to the pot.

Musicians started at 2.00pm and in the end we had to pull the plug on them at 11.30pm because they were knackered and just would not stop playing.

I cannot thank people enough for all of their efforts. If you want a good band for a fundraiser, let me know any one of them would be happy to do it for you.

I was too busy running around making sure everything was ticking over OK to get too many pics, but these should give you a flavour of the weekend.

Gutted i missed it, would've loved to lend a hand and watch Harrys tent float off down the canal!

Just got the final figures for this event.

Entry Fees £390.90
Raffle £189.10
BBQ £350.00

Total £930.00

The Boat Club rounded it up to £1000., so that's a sizeable boost to the funds and a good weekend to boot
