OK, the full story.

Arrived on site, set up the truck, Chris and Adam (Team41) arrive on site, park their truck.
Take a few photo's, start collecting and selling merchandise.

PCSO comes along and says "You cant park 'ere"

We tell him to have a word with Domino's. He disappears. Comes back about half an hour later with a 'real' policeman who is very polite and explains that they have had a coplaint about us parking in a pedestrian precinct and we can't stay. He was helpful and suggested an alternative site, but it was too far away and with no footfall.

On the plus side, we managed to collect about £25 and sell over £50 worth of merchadise before we wrapped it in.

Steve/Chris/Adam - Many thanks for taking time to support our event and the H4H charity at the Domino's openning. This is the classic - "you can never find a cop when you want one" (I should know that!!). The problem with today's age is that once a complaint has been lodged it needs to be actioned. Commonsense - out of the window.

I apologise in that in my discussions with Domino's I hadn't even considered that their new shop was in a precinct. The ones we've supported locally have had parking immed outside - and we've enjoyed good banter with the police/traffic warden etc.

On the plus side - some pennies were raised, two of the H4H crews met up and a L/R was introduced to the benefits and qualities of a Jeep (oops nearly spelt Jap then)!!!

i feel sorry for PCSO sometimes as they have no power!! the ones around where i live are rather attractive though!!

It was good until we were moved on Harry.

I dont' feel sorry for the PCSO, it was his doing that we were moved on, a complete jobsworth. He ran off to get the 'real' copper to sort the job out.
