Phones for Heroes

Help for Heroes is welcoming a new corporate supporter called Inturn Trading Ltd (ITL) in a new fund-raising venture, Phones for Heroes (P4H).

ITL is a well-established electronic components trader based in Norfolk The project is to collect unwanted/unused mobile phones donated by the public. These will then be refurbished, where possible, and resold to developing countries. Unusable items will be disposed of properly adhering to industry Best Practice standards.

P4H will donate 60% of all proceeds after collection, processing and ancillary expenses, to H4H
P4H has pledged £40,000 and is hoping to give much more.
One of the project’s main collection tools will be individual, pre-paid, postal bags designed to hold one phone into which the donor places their unwanted/discarded phone.

This would be a huge help to the project and, as a side benefit, help the environment by safely disposing of potentially toxic waste from unusable mobile phones.

Step Three, Choose to be sent 5, 10 or 20 bags. These could be passed onto friends, family and work colleagues, so they too can donate their unwanted phone.
Step Three, Pop your mobile phone in the freepost postal bag and post it.
