| I was going to post about this too Harry.
Tim/Keith,
Would it be possible to create a catagory for spares sharing, then sub-forums for model's please?
Back to this post though,
I have a 300TDi engine sat doing nothing so will take off the starter motor, alternator, boost pipes and water pipes for the event.
I also have a 500mile old Disco front prop that I'll bring along too.

| Chris - We want others, ie some of the participants, to take 'ownership' of the various model/category re spares; hence we are looking for volunteers to take a lead on each group. Adding to the forum at this juncture is not the solution - not everyone on the rally uses the forum; but they will still carry spares and so need inclusion. Thus by limiting it to the forum a large chunk will miss out.
Hence, once we've got the volunteers we'll then put the relevant model owners together and their 'coordinator' can then start 'coordinating'.
What you are doing re the 300TDi and other bits is spot on; but it needs to be put on an inventory if they are to be shared - that's the role of the coordinator
Let's get that ball rolling first - then we can address any need for additions to the forum downstream.
Hope above makes some sense. Take care

| CPS certainly. Large syphon tube, jerry can, camo-gear and master key to Landrover locking fuel caps should solve the fuel issue | |
