Spares

Thought as I am not competing, I might as well carry a few spares for entrants, so, spoke to a Jap spares place, they said call round, give you a box of bits to take, called a landrover place, they said if I call with my Transit, they would fill it and loan me a trailer as well

Theres a rather nice trailer on ebay at the moment made out of a transit that had a front end smash so its from the bulkhead behind the seats back.

That and a luton box van should see the landy's from the start line to the Plains at least maybe even the ferry with a bit of good fortune

No need Steve, I've got shed loads of ties in my tool box.

I'm out of tape though, I used the last of it today to hold the hoover together!

We Landy owners keep oor ties hung up on a wee bitty string stapled to the rear of the wardrob door.

I thought you kept them in the belt loops round the waist of yer trousers
