| Not sure this really belongs in here, but ..... Found these on Fleabay and emailed the guy asking if he could do a similar kit, but using the 350amp connectors. Got this reply: Hi Nick Yes we can do 350amp Jump lead sets - one set works out @ £21.75, p+p for one off would be £10.50, however if you place an order for 3/4 off we can reduce the cost: £20.00 per jump lead set + £10.50 for ist set plus £5.50 for each additional jump lead set. ........................ RegardsSo, the more I order, the cheaper it becomes due to the way he's quoting postage. I dare say, if I get a few more than 3 or 4 then he might come down in price even more. What do you think, and, does anyone want a set? | |

| I've got my jump leads set up on these fellas.
Alot easier on Defenders if you want to fit comfy seats.
A battery cut off switch is a good buy too

Cheers Not ordered any yet (Only because I didn't get much response, other than from Paul, both on here and a couple of other forums !!). I'm now thinking that 175 amp is the most common size, which will make them cheaper. Will start reviewing agian in the next couple of days

| I'm still not 100% sure what size we should be going for (hoping for some decent discount for bulk purchase).
All the ones I spotted at the 4x4 show semed to 175 amp, so that's what I based my change of mind on.

| Been looking at this again.
175 A seems to be the "normal" size, so I'll get chasing again now.

| Not good, can't seem to get much discount on the connectors of cables etc...
Not giving up though - just down on my list of priorities at the moment ... sorry.

| Hi Nick was there any outcome on these, I now have a Disco D2 which has the leads and plug at the rear so I could do with a set of jump leads. AA Tony gets testy when I keep asking for a start, and as I might need a hand on the 2012 rally best I make it easier than last year, | |

| I can probably sort a set of leads reasonably easy. What size connector do you have (number of amps ??). I'll check on prices etc... again - but no-one really came up with a decent discount - but let's see what we can do. | |

| I'm looking at knocking out a few sets of these cables. Looking at 3m 400Amp cables with 350Amp Plugs. I'm think im going to retail them at £25 plus postage but I think I'll be able to do £20 plus postage to rally guys. Was thinking about inter-vehicle cables as well (Anderson plug on both ends) which could be used as and extension for when you need a long set of leads £15 plus P&P. Planning to use 350Amp as that is HGV standard and saves me buying multiple sizes.
Anyone interested | |
