PLI hoops

Hi, any one came across the need for Public Liability Insurance for public collections with/without their car?

I am aware that high street collections have to have a council permit, but shopping centres are asking for risk assessment and method statements and PLI.

So does anyone know of a broker that covers public collection PLI and displaying the car PLI?

I'm amazed at how many hoops you have to jump through just to collect for charity, whilst i understand the needs to protect the public I think it can go a bit far

first quote, so a bit of searching to do yet, quote was for 5m PLI as a market trader to sell H4H stock and advertising agent for collections came out at £231.92 for 12 months withhttp://www.simplybusiness.co.uk

It appears that the car is not covered but should be able to show it
