I know are pm can be a bit of a nonce, but come on im sorry but shes milking everything, originally she didn't want any press involved,

I know it hard loosing someone and finding reason and putting blames somewhere makes it easier, but I think this is out of order, if you listen to the injuries that the guy had, theres not many people that would survive, and im sorry to say but im sure that she doesnt know how many helicopters are running in afgan, we dont just use our own we share us forces helis too, so medivacs can come from anyone, and again some people will disagree but i dont think the speed of the helicopter would of saved his life, or if he had different equipment. theres just some situations where nothing can save you,


what does everyone else think?! is this an attack on the PM buy the sun pushing this woman and playing on her emotions? or do you think shes right?

he lost both legs, his hand, and his face needed reconstruction, and im sure many other cuts, lacerations?

I know its a sensitive subject but i think its harsh on the PM and the sun are in the wrong,

Aye Harry I have been getting more and more fed up with the coverage of this event.
I am sure that Gordon Brown would not have ment any harm at all and the fact that the letter was written with mistakes in it shows that it was from him.
A very very busy man who takes the time to scribe a note in his own hand.
He could have had someone type it up and then he sign it, but no, he chose to use his own hand.

It was a personal letter from him and should be looked at in that way.

Just think if I had written one in Scottish or indeed if the PM had done it in Scottish.

Who's to say if Private Janes would've survived, if his arteries had been damaged then it was inevitable, regardless of kit & helicopters.

I couldn't see any comments from the medic who fought to save him, just the usual witch hunt from a chavy tabloid rag.

I think if the Sun weren't prepared to ply Mrs Janes with large amounts of cash to keep the story running she might have accepted Mr Browns apology.

I can't stand the fella myself but as far as I'm concerned he has attempted to make a personal apology and it's now a private matter between the to parties.

I think that he might have been No.1 at being No.2

But he doesn't have what it takes to be No.1 at being No.1!

He consistently drops silly clangers that have a big impact and continue to disconnect him from the people of the country... anyone who was watching the coverage of the Remeberence parade will have seen that despite every member of the royal family bowing after laying their wreath... he didn't... nerves... forgetfullness... a head full of the next meeting... etc who knows... but the impact... huge!

He may not be the best pm, but shes the only one to complian out of hundreds he has sent
