Site should be back to normal running today the server change over is to be completed by IBM this morning

Ah good...thought my p.c was playing silly buggers again..!

There may still be a few problem here as they are having problems with the server at IBM

One of the things I've noticed now and again, but not always is the "posts since last visit" doesn't always remember when my last visit was !!!

You'll note how easily it was repaired and is running better than ever now

Don't hold your breath I run a forum hosted by the same people and it won't get sorted by IBM until Monday at the earliest so you still may experience some slowness or even not be able to get on but it's only a temp problem so I am told

Clearly IBM didn't offer us what we were waiting for, and we're deeply sad and annoyed for all you guys about these issues.
As a result, we're figuring out now a way to resign our contract with them so we can simply go back to our previous servers, that were working fine.

Time to make sure back ups are regular and frequent - watch them resign the IBM contract without having a fully tested replacement in place
Will be keeping an eye on my Forumotion project .......

It seems from what I can gather that they will possibly be going back to their old server but they have to look at the legal implications of this too, this site won't experience to many problems as its a different type to the ones that are ie this is PHBB and the ones most effected are PHBB2, I will keep you all posted on any news
