I have managed to obtain a pass for the weekend show.
This is full entry and camping for the weekend.

Well one Landrover Owner feeling the shame after a timed race around the arena
3ton of AA Landrover was a whole one second slower than Keith's Evo driven by Tim For one minute a was a bit miffed, but the Evo is a full blown Paris Dakar racer! Still only to beat an Old AA Tractor by a second I quess the Japs should be feeling the shame Tomorrow I will try putting my foot down!!! Perhaps I will take the series 1 to rub salt in

No need to overdo matters. The target time was 1.17. Tim did 1.16 - we won - so job done

try it in 4wd drive tomorrow Keith, and drift it for the full circuit!!!!

Also guys- A BIG THANKS to those who turned up either for all the day or just popped. Some fantastic support - and really appreciated by Tim and me (as well as Hero the Bear - who today had his first helicopter flight and ride on a tank!)

Is'nt there a two second time penalty for being early at a check in Which means me being bang on target

Well Back home from a great weekend at the Berks 4X4 show. I think all the guys had a good time, I know I did
Great to meet a few of the teams that will be on the run( There will be a few characters on the run!!!)
In the timed run around the Arena Team H4H managed to get a 2nd, 3rd and 5th (Tim in the Evo, Big Dave in the D3 and me in the 110) Well done guys
Not sure on money added to the fund but managed to get a few quid in the "kitty"

was good to see everyone had a great time plus i think my l200 did quite well in the time trials think it surprised a few people just wish they hadnt cancelled the 2nd run would of liked to have tried it in 4wd

Dave in G4 - 1 min 41 secs
Tony in 110 AA Landy - 1 min 44 secs
Hoppie in L200 - 1 min 50 secs

BTW, on a serious note - Thanks to the guys/gals/kids who helped us this joined us this weekend on our stand, it was great to meet you all...and also a big thank to others who are taking part who also came to the Berks 4x4 show, great to meet you too

Good to be there and meet up with yourselves and some of the other participants. Having seen some of the competition ie Jap 'cr.p" am more than willing to issue the challenge for the 'Wooden Spoon' award !! Looking forward to the event.
