Debenhams w/e

Just been confirmed as team leader for Debenhams,Winchester-same store as last year.
Let's hope the result is as good as, if not better!

Confirmed as leader for Debenhams in Liverpool. It's in the middle of a big shopping centre, so hopefuly passing trade too.

Well w/e over, not yet got any results but gut feeling is that we were about 50% down on last year.Winchester was very quiet and the store empty. manager said that Saturday was one of their worst trading days for a long time. Interestingly, I helped out again at H4H Colossal cake sale in Winchester the weekend before and their takings were also 50% down on last year. Good to hear that other teams did well. I think may have got about £300 in donations. As they say , Every little helps.
Now got 14 collecting days at Tesco coming up. Lets hope they're good days !

Same as Tony, was a quiet weekend. Not helped by Liverpool playing at home on Sunday.

£287 out of £362 of merchandise sold, so not bad there. Just waiting on a message from the store when they get round to counting the buckets. Sat saw about 3/4 of a bucket full when they were all poured into one, and Sunday about 2" in the bottom of one.

Oh ... the waiting .....

Results in. Marginally better than first thought. Merchandising, a meagre £46. Donations £503- mainly from passers by out in the street.Footfall inside the store was very poor

Just heard from the store.
£1205 in the buckets, without counting the 5, 2 and 1p coins, so taking the merchandise off, somewhere just shy of £1000 in donations.

Quite chuffed, didn't think it was going to be that good.

Just had another message from the Liverpool Debenhams store.
"£1350.47 grand total in the buckets"

We sold £287 out of £362 worth of merchandise.

So taking the merchandise off we had £1063.47 in donations.

Not a bad weekend of collecting in the end.

Some great results out there from the Debenhams w/e - and a great boost towards the £1m target. many thanks to all who took part and supported the w/e.
