Tales of Christmas shopping

Lynn & I went Christmas shopping today, The city centre was very busy, and as Lynn walked around, she was surprised to discover that I was no where near her, I had in fact gone missing.

She was very upset because we had a lot to do, and hence, she became very worried about me, she in fact called me on my mobile to ask where I was.

In a very quiet voice I replied to her, Do you remember the jewellers we went into about 5 or 6 years ago, and you fell in love with that diamond necklace that we couldn’t afford, and I told you that one day I would buy it for you.

I could tell by her reply, she was getting emotional, and choking up, and I could hear that she had started to cry, and in a trembled voice to replied, Yes love, I remember the shop well.

Well I said, I’m in the pub next door.
