Shop in a box Question Empty
PostSubject: Shop in a box Question   Shop in a box Question EmptySun Jul 14, 2013 3:48 am

Hello all,

Ok so i've ordered my "shop in a box" from H4H

obviously we'll be collecting donations as well as selling products from h4h

Do you count your h4h product selling as part of your total in your fund raising or do you just count the donations?
I'm aware you need to send a seperate payment for the products sold out of the box, so this wouldnt show on the bmy account unless shown in total raised off-line. do you all show this as raised offline or just send the cheque and leave it at that?

Only ask as never done the whole selling stuff before, only ever collected

Cheers

Dan

It's only the donations that count, same as for the Asda collections etc. Use the merchandise to get people over then get them to donate.

So you cant count it in the raised offline total either?
seems a shame if you cant count it somewhere

Profits from sale of merchandising go into a general pot to meet the admin costs of running the charity whereas donations go to providing the help needed thus only donations can be shown on or offline
