Not this year Nick! - saw your post. You clearly had too much time on your hands - so, helpfully, have just rewritten part of the roadbook to now include a 139mile night section.

We also thought this a kindly gesture (yep that's us - kindly, helpful ) as loads of cars seem to have mega sets of lights (but Note; Final Instructions - 18.3 No more than 2 forward facing spotlights to be used on the public highway. This will be strictly enforced)

Oh - then, helpfully (as always) just time for a quick brekkie and 0700hrs start on the Wednesday.

Yey.. i always said it was too easy. A couple of full on night sections is what we need to shake them up.

So you can have as many flood, fog or driving beam lights as you like but only 2 spot pattern.
No worries as spots are rubbish for general use.

A picture can says 1000 words; this one doesn't need 1000 words just the phrase; 'I've given up with the LR - it's the L200 for us for the rally'

9 weeks and we'll be finishing off at the BBQ in Arromanches.
10 weeks and we'll be having a drink or two in the bar at the camp site in Bastogne. Tim - no throwing beer ........
