| Some fantastic news in that the 2013 rally has passed through the £50,000 mark in terms of funds raised. Our single 'measurement tool' is the Group Bmycharity a/c - which currently stands at £51,119. A massive 'well done' to all of you who have put so much effort in. We know there is still a haul ahead to reach the £190,000 - but it can be done. Don't ease up and that £51k will keep rising. Great job one and all | |

| Great news for our Marshals; having looked at the above posts the 'committee' can announce that all the 2013 Marshals will receive a 29.5% increase in their set wage for the event AND their bonus (for their mega support, wit, bon ami, for giving up two weeks of their lives and for simply being there) will see a massive rise of 57.43%. The enhanced package can be can be broken down as follows; Set Wage 2012 = £0 - 29.5% increase means 2013 will see the marshals gain £0 Set Bonus 2012 = £0 - 57.43% increase means 2013 will see the marshals gain £0 The 'committee' has declined the kind offer of chips - fresh or otherwise. | |

Keith its good to see you are looking after the Marshals, they deserve this massive rise. But the question is now is this rise based on a productivity target? | |

| A good point there Ross. However, the 2013 pay rises for the marshals have already been agreed with their Trade Union. I suspect that their Union will now pick up on this 'productivity' element and will ask for it to be tabled when negotiations open for 2014 Difficult times ahead | |
