we have left well alone for
a while, but will change the copper rings before the rally next year. We have however bought an awning, a new camping table and a jet boil so ready for Peterborough. We are on the beach at Instow for the Commando family day; it's the place where Jeremy Clarkson went into the water with them. Hoping to raise some money for next year. North Devon show cancelled because of flloding to the site; shame as the flying motorbike team that were at Stoneleigh last year were due to be there. Sheila. At least it has got David out of 3 days work setting up there.

The 110 has started the mod program for next year. But as a emplyee of the MoD I share their problems of indecisiveness. I may end up with something different at the end to what I wanted at the start..... And it'll cost a whole lot more! Then again I may change my mind and start the whole thing again!

Well for now a new roof bar, to replace the bent one, and an awning. The list of other things changes everyday.

After peterborough who knows what the wish list will have on it!

Dan,
The rear bumper is Britpart DA 5646, £225 ( plus 8.50 postage ) from Salop 4x4 on eBay.

Are you coming up for Nick and Lyn's 50/50 do, if so can return Nanocom then, if not or need earlier can send it, please supply address.

Thanks again for the loan it was invaluable. cheers cheers

Also Dan,
Your front bumper is a Flatdog winch bumper, yes? Well you may have noticed that I've got the non-winch version.
Now that it's on I do feel the screen wash bottle is somewhat vulnerable, was/is it the me for yours. I was thinking of relocating it into the engine bay or spis there a smaller version?

Doc,

Yep mine is a flatdog and the washer bottle is well exposed - i've come up with 2 options - a 300tdi one in the main engine bay - cheap and works well - but takes up the second battery potential area!
Or devon 4x4 do a replacement shorter one for £lots
a few people i speak to on the forums have done a mod out of a normal water bottle - its ok but i'd like a more factory look rather than a bodge it!

LIKE the bumper lots!!! might have to look into that! was it easy fit?

Dan,

Rear bumper was a breeze to fit, fits on the 2 bolts ( new bolts come with ) holding the standard bumper in place ( behind light units) and has 2 extra bolts which attach centrally with the tow hitch assembly.

the decorating is coming on a treat although the hedge is looking a little sad after it was attacked by the power cutters. Bang go my hopes of making Rose hip syrup this autumn. My car is all sparkling and clean smelling after its first valeting for two years. Reason? I am thinking of selling it, but it looks too good now I can see the proper colour etc.
