Macs are like Landy's. They don't have issues but when surrounded by inferior makes, they throw a hissy fit.

I can't fault my iPad.... Been excellent the past year, uploading pics very quickly, emails, forum stuff, viewranger and memory map etc.. just does the job I want it to do and doesn't breakdown or crash!

What debate would that be Carl

Got to admit, my Iphone has been good, only gets a bit slow when it's time for a clean out of unused stuff taking up too much memory.

Seriously considering an Ipad for the Lightweight next year and leave all the heavyweight laptop stuff behind. My only concern is storage and back up space for photos.
Shooting in RAW and jpg takes up a lot of space, so a laptop and back up hard drive will probably still be needed, unless I take a load of sd cards, but then you don't have the photo saved until there's two safe copies of it !!!
