Penalty points

It would be very helpful if our esteemed organisers could/would post the teams with penalty points and how many those respective Teams each have. That way we will know if it is actually worth our charging back to the UK, or gain a few more penalty points and join the rally at Caen

That is just so typical.

Suspect our esteemed and courteous and devious organisers don't know either, hence the refusal to publish such information!

If i remeber rightly you all need to read the unwritten rules about the penalty point scheme part 3 sub para a and b appendix 3 its all there

They are very flexible according to the mood of our esteemed, kind, helpful(?) organisers
Think they are in the same area as the constantly moving goal posts so difficult to pinpoint

Amazing; the new goal posts were faulty; they were supposed to be easier to move and much wider than the original ones; but the posts themselves were actually quite sticky.

The good news is the the supplier has replaced them with an even lighter version and wider.

Crucially the texture of the posts is now very slippery; perhaps similar to the skills sets of the organisers themselves

There isn't a problem over rules, the goal posts move often, but, with beer, they can move in one direction only !!

That's good new Keith, the wider they are the easier they will be to hit.

The fag packet and crayon that i was using to keep score seems to have vanished.

Guess we'll have to make something up before/during the event depending on tea,beer, burgers, bacon rolls, more bacon rolls etc etc

If the very nice, kind, suportive organizers ever decide (Oh please great ones do not) to give up this job, they can step right in to any top civil servant position as they have the right skill sets for it, sly, devious, slippery and a fine ability to move the goal posts!

Funny you should say that, but one of us has that qualification , not saying who though, well I might for a beer!!!

Seems these penalty points are bottomless, and has no organisalation width either according to the slippery goal posts. Beers or not, we the poor down trodden Teams will be those worse effected
