| I Had a job to tidy up a mates Ford M151A1 for him it was in tatty condition wrong colours and wrong markings. I fitted a wading kit(snorkle and raised exhaust vents on engine etc) It came up quite well I think. What do you guys think. | |

| Nice one. Those seats wouldn't be too comfortable for 3000 miles across Europe though | |

| That period of "Jeep" was renowned for being uncomfortable giving rise to a condition I think known as 'jeep drivers butt'. Which is otherwise known as a pilonidal abscess!! | |

| These arnt uncomfortable they ride better than a coil sprung Rover. They have a similar suspension system to the much later Humvee Double wishbones and coils all round. To think they came out in the early 60's So much more comfortable than a series truck. If anyone is down at Beltring come and have a go! | |

| I only buy what's offered to me. The days of hunting round for cars are long gone due to crap descriptions & time wasting sellers
I only got into this offroading game as someone offered me an SJ many years ago for £1000 - I offered them £150 ^ they took it! - Those were the days, a tidy Sammy with tax & mot for £150!!!!!

My aim is that when the day finally comes I will have tried everything & owned as many as poss. It's very unusual for me to own anything more than a year or so

| Tony, very nice jeep. I prefer a roof though as it keeps me warm and dry whilst waiting for you and John to come and recover me! | |
