Anyway, back to the Mac - The secret to their 'success' was the satellite video link (which only worked on the night section - the section they won) that was being used. The sophisticated link was between Nick's car and six of my computers which were able to analyse the route and intructions, do the number/data crunching and feed back to the info that Nick needed. It was all a bit of a holiday for him/Lynn.

Nick owes me a pint for my help!!

So, for the H4H 4x4 rally - you have 2 distinct advantages;

1. I won't be spoon feeding Nick
2. You already drive on mainland Europe

Keith only charging "a pint" for all that help & use of electricity for 6 computers - just can't be right.

But what Keith doesn't realise, is that while hooked up to those 6 computers, we were also downloading European Rally notes, reccy videos and photos as well as general files that seemed to be called "Answers" in some sort of sequence called "Missions".

Also picked off some files called "Ration Packs" - and no, it wasn't anything to do with food ........................

Tim - It's worked again; I knew we'd suck them in. On facebook we've also now got crews owning up to 'acquiring' our arrows and here Nick 'thinks' he's got the rally route! Brill. Looks a bit unlikely that we'll see Nick at the end of the rally - nor any that 'purchase' the misinformation from him

By the way, and this is no bullshit, the French are removing Speed camera warning signs, so you Brit plated Green Oval Badged whatsits have a distinct advantage over us now, we have to keep within the speed limit. Not sure about those rice eating machines if they are fast enough to break the 50kmph speed limit.

Hmmmm ....... strange how the "stolen" routes seem to tally with the data the trackers fitted earlier recorded.

Given your employment Dan, I'm certain if you knew the whereabouts of any you'd let me know!!

Keith, of course i would, However the definition is to "permenantly" deprive - if there is a chance they'll reappear each year then there are no offences diclosed
Therefore if they at least make an appearance of some description on the rally i cannot see there is much can be donw

The Lawyers are onto this already; EU Human Rights have been breached. However in the interest of compromise, they advise that anyone in possession of an 'arrow' (or 'arrows'), without the written approval of said owners (H4H 4x4 European Rally organisers), pay the standard hire charge for said items; currently £5 per week per item + 100% default penalty.

Given the trauma created by the disappearance of said 'arrows' an additional cost could be added. It is only the reasonableness, kindness, fairness, heart felt warm and pity of said organisers that have refrained us from further action

2013 entrants are NOT exempt. Take note, all 2013 entrants will encounter further scrutiny by the organisers before acceptance into the event!!!

But the Orange Arrow WANTED to come with us, it was all abandoned on a post at the camp site in Bavaria and it was lonely as we were the last vehicle to leave.

So I'm not sure wether it should be returned as the 'Organisers' have shown gross neglect towards the species of Orange Arrow.

I'm with Matt on this one! any others that were picked up when abandoned were done so for safe keeping! Not of course (just in case) that i have one of said arrows!

Anyway Mr Burt told me it was a hidden objective to find and take possession of an arrow! He's the ring leader, honest!

Matt, I'm working on the same theory, abandonement was how I came to be the adoptee of 6 of the Orange Arrow species.

Keith, by the admission of the post above, car 40 has 6 of the arrows, so, that will 6x 25 points off to start with !

That Car 40 - I knew there was something - an arrow kleptomaniac (amongst other things!). Mind you 2011 Car 5 must be regarded as an accessory. The Doc (2011/2012 Car 15) has some mitigation as an ‘official medic’. However, me thinks the hornets’ nest is being stirred – and others will wish to ‘confess’.
