The Hero Awards

We have just received the following from H4H (see below).

We are hugely honoured and feel very privileged to even be nominated for such an award. We’re very happy to accept the invitation and will attend as representatives of all of those who have entered or been involved in the Help for Heroes 4x4 European Rally – after all, you are the ones who have raised the £280,000+ to date; not us. If we do receive an award on the night it will be on behalf of all of you guys, gals and children and in recognition of the brilliant work you have all done. We’ll keep you posted and, just a reminder; Class of 2012, keep up the fund-raising!

Please find an invitation attached inviting you to the presentation of The Hero Awards; our way for showing how much we appreciate those who have made truly outstanding contributions to Help forHeroes.

I am delighted to say that you are one of our nominees for awards in recognition of the extraordinary support you, or those you represent, have given.

We will, in true Help for Heroes style, keep this very simple; there will be several categories of award and we will read out all the details of each group before you come up together and receive your medal from one of our trustees.

I know your first reaction will be to say you don’t deserve recognition but we feel you do so please accept this in the spirit of giving! We appreciate your contribution and this is only a small token of that recognition and thanks.
