| We carried a general mechanics tool kit (spanners, sockets, screwdrivers etc) and then the all important cable ties, gaffer tape and crimp terminal kit.
Never used any of them, but better to have them than not. | |

| As a dizzy has been surgested would it be wise to have a spare cap and rotor arm ?

| you can get some rad flush you put in the system, just put it in the header tank which is usually in the loft, I've get 12 radiators in my house so about 2 litres should do it, as for the outside i just painted my ones..........is this the right thread General discussions ,banter etc it seems to be getting very serious. Anyway hope the advice helps | |

| Hi again all Anyone know how to check to see if the fans are working,electric fans that some one wired up for me,i think they might have done it wrong and dont know if they got damaged in the fire. all advice welcome | |

| Just disconnect the wires to the fans and run them straight from a battery. That will check the fans. You will then need to check the sensor. This can be done by either running the engine until it gets hot and seeing if the fans kick in, or remove the sensor from it's housing and place the end in boiling water. It should switch the fans on. | |

| Stick with the electric ones - if they test out OK. More efficient than standard. Can have a play with it on Sat at the show if you like. | |

I fitted bush cables for 2010. I think the only use they actually got was to hang the tea towel out to dry!!!! | |
