Finally.....

Hi All,

We finally have a vehicle! A great big 1998 Ford Exploder... Sorry Explorer!
Anybody ever had any dealings with these particular beasts?
I cant wait to get it fixed up and take it for a real mooch! Needs a new screen and skirt but the rest looks pretty good! Wont be going to auto glass for the screen (£800!!! I think not!).

Already started buying the... essential equipment! haha. Just gotta make sure the car is in running order now!

That's a first for the H4H 4x4 European Rally Kelly - The first Ford Explorer; and it adds another dimension to the traditional Jap 'n Jeep v LR debate.

I've used the Explorer in Canada - it'll do brill.

Ford, Jap & Jeep vs LR, I like it Keith ....

The odds are stacking up .....

The beauty about having the Ford, and I have used a few with Ford Motorsport over the years, is that unlike the green oval stuff, we will have quality rust with us now, not cheap rust on them La, L, Lan, Lannn Green oval things.

Hmmm ..... need to come up with some sort of comparison measure .....
