| Hi All There are just 19 Weeks to go before we set off on our European trip and I am searching for events to attend and different ways to raise money! I wondered if anyone had any ideas perhaps they could share them on here and we could help maximise the pot! Personally speaking Supermarket collections are excellent, try to organise them at the end of the month or around special events, near to Valentines or Easter, people shopping are in a good mood also try and pop a tin in your local corner shop or chippy - pop your name and phone number on and wait for the pennies to stack up. I have distributed flyers around our village and I am collecting peoples unwanted items for Car Boot sales, usually the organisers let you sell for free as it is for charity and if you make some posters advertising the rally people make an effort to buy something. If you have somewhere available to organise it, you could charge for washing cars, a great way to burn off those mince pies girls! .... Please share your ideas, and good luck folks | |

| 10/10 on this Dee -
Time is marching on quickly and there's a target of £121,000 to beat. It is some way off that at the moment! And that's an understatement!!
So, all you 2011 guys n gals - Please remember; The reason for the Help for Heroes 4x4 European Rally is the raising of funds for H4H.
I know Chris & Dee put a lot of effort into their fund-raising. If every team put just a quarter of that effort in the £121,000 will be smashed easily.
As organisers we know you are all busy - but let's getting cracking at that fund raising.

| I forgot another idea as well, I am running in the Lincoln 10K and getting sponsors for that , wearing the H4H t-shirt and will have a few hidden helpers with buckets and shaker tins! I have added a link on here for different races in your area! http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/default.asp?v=1Also Cakes go down a treat in the office, I have an advantage as I work for a Cake manufacturer but you could bake some delicious muffins and take them to the office on a Friday, when everyone is in the weekend mood and sell them for a small fee | |

| Good one for us last year was to run Quiz Nights in local pubs.
The publicans were happy with the increased punters and we made about £600 from two pubs.
Also got the brewery to provide the prizes FOC
