Hi, I am new to the forum and have been confirmed on the rally today affraid

What a fantastic opertunity this is to drive my disco thru europe and raise much needed funds for our lads.

I have approached all the major fuel companies to ask if they will supply the fuel. Got a very nice NO from Shell today Crying or Very sad

There is a possibility that my own company will finance the fuel costs

Thats a result mate!
Thankfully I am running a 300tdi disco so it won't hurt too bad.
Was in France in June and the dieselprices are much lower than over here and a lot cheaper than petrol.
Because its such a distance tho I will be looking at optimising my gear ratios to cut the fuel bill. She returns 30 mpg on a good run anyway so its not bad

My codriver has an LPG obsession. Grand Cherokee, 110 or Disco, it's gotta have LPG.

Although when the tanks on the 110 vented on his driveway for no good reason I thought I might have a chance of dragging him away from the darkness......

On a serious note, there are several makes and model of 4x4 out there and they all have their good points and bad but you won't catch me in anything without a green oval Razz
