Was it you I had the cab off?

So far I've just about managed to finish the outside, I had a small problem and stripped the main shaft so it's only just back on the road after 10 months.

When the cash allows I'll be starting on the inside, whoop whoop!!

ha ha no ignore his english!!! he meant the fact its a double cab pick up. . . . what did you have to the out side?? any body work welding issue that you had to sort out???

my disco has been off road a while now and only just got round to starting to sort it out. . matt should he helping me but we both kinda accident prone!!

Not much kit was needed
I bought a the truckcab window and roof from a guy on LRUK (the roof was no use though)
The rear bulkhead was donated from a 90 that was past it. A full set of galvy body cappings were given to me buy a mate with a garage full of bit.
The last bit was the small rear section of roof from Sean at north offroad.

I gave it all to a mate of mine to glue/rivet/weld it all together.

Much better than forking out £15k on a real DC

a lot of work then really!!! got any more pics of it?? can you tell its not a proper DC?? its got to be said they are the best defender, if i could afford a defender when i got my disco i would have!!

Yeah, I think the tub sits seperately on the chassis on a real one, oh yeah and my shocking paintwork on the rear window gives it away. lol

good colour too dont see many that colour!!

It did have orange zebra stripes all over it in the original auto trader add. When I went to have a look they'd taken them off.

Gutted!!
