Chris - really so sorry to hear about this. Absolutely terrible and unbelievable.

Re: spreading the word via media, what about Lynn Bowls? - she has the connection with the event, and a large audience. I would imagine everybody hearing the story would be sympathetic /angry. Its extra eyes and ears on the job, but even if it isn't found, as Willi Ecleslike said - there may be a sympathestic sponsor out there with a loan vehicle?

Sarah.

For what its worth - and I'm sure you've already given all the details to the Police - I spoke to Cheshire Force Intelligence Bureau this morning and dropped them the photo of the vehicle from the forum and a copy of the H4H 4x4 logo, pointing out that there aren't many more than 50 4x4 vehicles sporting artwork like it.

I'm well aware of the life expectancy of a stolen 4x4 but every little helps.

Good luck

Si

Now posted on RockzNRutz.

We have a lot of members in that area.

I must admit that someone did suggest you follow the trail of oil leaks and bits falling off being as it is a Landy Rolling Eyes

Once again thanks for all the support.

The police are doing all they can at the moment, neil610 has been a massive help (and still is), both myself and Adam have our fingers crossed, although the further away it gets the smaller the chance is of it coming back.

I have been busy this week with work due to having two days off in the last week but have been trying different angles of attack to try and get a replacement for the rally. Most of my effort has been exhausted but I still have a couple of options to try and make it to drive (we have had numerous offers of lifts which is great!) rather than passenger. I will know more news in the morning.

So all in all a massive thanks to all who have said kind words on the forum and especially those who have offered assistance and spread the word on other forums.

See you all next week!
