I confess I've shortened my waffles by about 12" as the D3 is one hell of a heavy beast and I'd rather use two overlapping on one side of the car or take a few minutes with a folding shovel than have a board go "bang!" in the middle of the tricky bit

Right then!!

I now have 3 (way too shiny) sets of boards in the back of my motor.

Harold 1 set for you
Jack, sorry mate. I keep going out and measuring them but TBH i've had a couple of beers and keep forgeting the dimensions by the time I reach the front door. I'll do it tomorrow.

I've got one set that are now surplus but they're longer than mine so unless anyone wants them I might have them myself and flog my ones.

And breath.....!!

Unfortunately they've all gone. He had a bit a run on the last 3 sets he had.
I reckon eblag would be your best bet, you could probably get them cheaper than the ones I have.

Sorry about that

Only waffles I'm taking are the ones you can fry and eat.

What do we need waffles for?

Sorry Bill, incorrect quote.
Page 1:3:42

Being the owner of a Japaneeeeese vehicle, one should be prepared to assist those less fortunate and be ready to help the owner of a Land Rover 4x4 vehicle when it no longer has the ability for forward (or reverse) motion.
For this we suggest you carry a full compliment of recovery equipment and, for the often, frequent, extreme conditions, a powerfull winch.

LOL - I know, that's me, not only failed scrutineering, but probably banned from the rally ............. Waffle Boards - Page 2 Suspect

Mine are on the roof rack coz it frees up the space in the back where I normally keep them. And I'll only get moaned at for leaving them lying around the house for 2 weeks. Laughing

Waffles are there for resting on jerrycans. Make a great bench. Also good for holding down your roofrack. I've used mine a couple of times in anger to partially bridge holes that would have had the car leaning against a bank and to recover the Defender when Mrs Do$h rolled it onto its side avoiding an errant 7.5t truck.

Never needed a winch though confused
